Sport MK is committed to preserving your privacy. This privacy policy explains why we obtain, store and process data that can identify you, also why we collect your information

When you visit www.sportmk.co.uk we collect standard internet log information that helps us to analyse details, such as number of visitors to the site and patterns in visitor behaviour, which enable us to improve the user experience. We collect this information in a way that does not identify anyone.

If you visit certain areas of this site you may be asked to provide us with club or organisational data, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses. We strongly recommend that organisation email addresses are used to communicate to SportMK rather than personal email addresses e.g This email address is being protected from spambots. The use of organisation email addresses facilitates changes of holders of positions in clubs and avoids inadvertent use of personal addresses if contacts change.

How we use your information

We may use your information to contact you from time to time to ask for your views on our services and/or to notify you of changes or developments to our site or our services. We may also use your data for the purpose of providing you with, and informing you of, grants, courses or events that may interest you or your members. If you would prefer us not to do this, please contact us and we will amend your preferences and if you so wish, your details will be removed from our databases.

None of the data we collect is released to any unrelated third party. We retain data for as long as we need it or until you request that the data is destroyed or erased.

As a result, whilst we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information which you send to us and you do so at your own risk.
